I just wanted to give you all a quick reminder. If you all weren’t already aware, John Green, the author of Looking For Alaska and The Fault In Our Stars, is publishing a new book on October 10th. This is the first book he’s published since 2012, and a lot of people have been waiting on him to write a new novel, so this has been a long 5 years for them.
If you’re a fan of his, feel free to call your local book store and pre-order a copy. If you haven’t read any of his books before, or aren’t much of a reader, go buy a copy of Looking for Alaska and give it a try. Sometimes a few bad books in a row can turn people off to reading, but it only takes one good book to get yourself back into it.
Looking for Alaska is definitely a good book that’s withstood the test of time, and is still in demand to this day, 12 years after being published in 2005. It’s a coming of age type story about a high school kid that gets sent away to boarding school, and for the most part is a story that is relatable to anyone and everyone which is why it’s done so well over its 12 year lifespan.
“Turtles All The Way Down” is the name of the new novel from John Green, and it follows a teen girl who plays detective trying to find out a mystery that involves a billionaire fugitive. It’s a young adult fiction, and will most likely tackle issues about growing up, the real world, and mix it together with light-hearted comedy, considering most of his novels revolve around those aspects.
Thanks for reading guys, Much love, and remember.
