Hey everyone.

Wonder Woman has been around for 75 years and this is the first time they’ve made her story on the big screen, and damn, I can not wait. Gal Gadot is the perfect actress to play this role considering she served in the Israeli military, and filmed part of the movie five months pregnant.

Let’s be honest, Wonder Woman is known for feminism, (and the guy that created her literally believed woman were better than guys and would one day rule the world.) An actress that served in the military and also filmed while five months pregnant is just screaming feminism in every way, shape, and form.

Now, modern feminism (third wave feminism) tends to be based on excuses to do less, (not shaving your arm pits, not using a tampon, ect)  but actual feminism is about doing more, (serving in the military, filming movies while pregnant) and Gal Gadot is probably the best actress DC could have ever picked to play Wonder Woman, because, after spending at least half a day watching non-stop interviews of this girl, It’s safe to say she’s lived a life about hard work and dedication to what’s important to her. She deserves this role.

So, this movie has been getting excellent reviews across the board, and some critics are even comparing it to the dark knight with heath ledger. At first I thought that was a ridiculous notion, but I feel as if Gal was meant for Wonder Woman just like Heath was meant for the Joker. Long story short, this is going to be an amazing movie.

A brief history of Wonder Woman, she was introduced into the comic book world way back in 1941, and has been apart of DC comics ever since. Being ranked up there with superman and batman, she’s been one of the three main heroes in the DC comic book universe. she also had a television series in the 70’s, but we can just forget that ever happened and move on. superhero television shows have just been embarrassing until recently.

Go treat yourself this weekend and see Wonder Woman at your local theater.
